Title: NOS UCAs and spring perches
Post by: Sluggo on July 20, 2009, 11:27:36 PM
Hello,
I have some what used to be NOS front end parts I took off my 69 Mach1. They were put on the car probably in the eighties sometime. Even though they were in nice shape and still had the tags on them, the bushings were all dried up and and the tags a bit weathered.

I'm considering sending them off to be rollerized.

Do these sort of parts have any value to a concours restorer?

Depends - if they are NOS that may be (likely) of the later service replacement design so there would not be IMHO as much demand for reuse. IF original style yes there may be someone that can use them - as always mating the part with the person needing it takes a bit of time

I'm sure that they are service replacements. The left front fender, headlight extension, front valance, front and rear bumpers, and rear valance all had service replacement tags/stamps on them.
