Glad to see this site up and running. It's definitely needed. I'll mention it in the November issue to help spread the word.

Welcome Donald!  It's been a little slow here starting out.  Mainly because I think most of us already registered are the folks that normally answer all the questions!  Hopefully the site will grow and be a valuable resource to those interested in this part of the hobby.

Welcome to all the new members - things are a bit slow with the end of summer and the start of school for many.   But glad to see you all here

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the site and this site is just what I was looking for.
I've recently bought a 1968 8R010S15324 GT/CS 390 C-6 San Jose car (8R01S 65B M 6G 26C 72 7 U ) delivered to Honolulu HI. It is a true GT with Interior Decor group upper and lower consoles, Power Disk brakes, Power steering. The previous owner started to do a concourse restoration but lost his job and had to sell. The body work has been completed and has been media blasted. They took care to tape over the factory drips on the underside while blasting. The engine has been stripped down, block was tumbled and magna fluxed the heads haven't been touched and need attention there are new pistons and rods. Transmission hasn't been touched either. The car is being moved from CA. to NJ. as I type. I would like to continue the concourse restoration but need help with what order the restoration goes in does anyone know of a good publication out there that explains a concourse restoration? All comments welcome
