No, I made a point. I'm a realist.  I assemled my vehicle with a housing made from what you are seeking to fill the void until I found an original in serviceable condition.

I’m inclined to believe that I will.  It’s not like I need it by next week.  And if I don’t, nothing is lost.

At some point many of us reach that point where we need something than what we are willing to pay or settle on can change. Until then we all hope we get lucky. Sometimes things work out for the best
