Rear Transmission Seal

(1/2) > >>

Texascobra:
Is this the correct assembly line rear transmission seal for a Jan 67 GT500??

carlite65:
don't believe that ford used that brand on the assy. line. correct one will have ford engineering number on it. others will chime in with more info later.

Texascobra:
I ask because a prior post and NPD suggest this as correct for the big input and big output top loaders.

carlite65:
may be 'correct' shape but assy. line never used that brand.

Yes the assemblyline seal you picture is a very close style to the one used for a 67 GT500 big input and big output top loader. As a further note the after market seal will most likely work where as the recent repro assemblyline version commonly leaked.
