Did you get the clip?
If not leave me a PM, I have one.
-
Yessss! A kind forum friend sent me one. Thanks

I'm not familiar with this part, although I have taken apart many 66 clusters. Is this part of the cluster, or is this part of the dash structure to accept the dash cluster itself? I thought simple j-clips slide over the protrusions from the dash structure itself.
Any clarification of where this part goes would help to satisfy my curiosity. Thanks.

It is a modified J-Nut, only for the 4 screws on the TOP of the cluster. They come through on a weird angle and won't go into a plane J-Nut. There are 4, and they slide onto the 4 tabs in the sheetmal BEFORE installing the cluster.

Yes, The 4 identical clips clip onto the top of the dash opening. The clips are on the dash, NOT the cluster.
