67 or 68 dash pad question
«

I found a black oem dash pad . For some reason over by the right side it has a factory notch area what looks to be for a window tag. Both our 68's have the tag in the same location but neither have this notch in the pad. Is this a 67 pad ?

When you state "oem" dashpad is this a repo or an original? 68 dashpads I've had have the notch for the VIN tag but don't know if this applies to all (including very early cars) or not

The 67s I have, had had, have seen, and have pictures of (phew) do not have this notched out area. I'm leaning towards this is a 68/late 68 pad.

Well 1967s dont have windshield tags, so there is no need for a notch.
