Not sure how the red is but none of the usual places ivy gold vinyl matched my original seats and door panels.  The place in Oregon, SMS Auto Fabrics, matched perfectly.

I will be installing all new interior as well.  It was in great shape, but there were mice nests everywhere, and I mean everywhere.  I don’t think the odor would ever go away. Thanks for the heads up.

Were yours originally glued in?
I assume they were as there was remnants of glue on the rocker panel and the carpet in there was not
Using the 64 1/2 Mustang Interior Assembly Manual (AM002 pg 9) as a guide, - yes. It's the same stickum used in 66 carpets (Ford does not like to change assembly practices). The instructions state: "Adhesive applied over entire length of riser". That's for a hardtop, 66 instructions include all three models.
