Translating glass code

I have a Carlite vent (wing) with this code Solid Tempered  M27.9

And 2679
Is this a 1967 0r 1968?

A picture would be better.
there is a glass decoding article in the library section on this forum please check it out.
It covers dates mostly, again a picture would help.

Agree it would help if a picture (know its difficult) were posted of the "2679" since it does not fit the typical pattern of the era. As shown in both the sites article and Marcus' efforts

Don't know for certain. Appears on both tempered and laminated glass. The number portion appears to change with the "FM-M" staying the same. Possibly a tracking number to machine or plant number as glass was made at many different plants around the country. Recall visit/inspection a LOF (Libby-Owens-Ford)  plant in the late 70's which produce some of the glass. Interesting process though there were certain areas we had issues with gaining access to due to "secret" processes .

They had plants in Rossford, Ohio, Laurinburg, North Carolina, Ottawa, Illinois, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Lathrop, California
