1971 Mach 1 exterior trim

preaction:
For a 71 Mach 1 would a car that had exterior strips(stripes) also have chrome trim too ? I'm a bit new to this model and as built.

I'm late to the party but, If it had the trim then no stripes, if it had the stripes then no trim. You see many restorations with both. Chuck
