« on: November 29, 2020, 11:03:37 PM »
Need to buy a new reproduction Autolite battery for my 70 Twister Special and wanted to make sure to get the correct one. Group 27 or 24 battery ? Also where is the best place to buy one? Thanks!

Unless your Marti says Heavy Duty Battery it would be 24F. Don't know if the repos are still being made. It was a one man show last year and they may have gone out of business as the web site is just an advertisement site now.

+1 .Everyone one selling them was having problems . I wouldn't be surprised if they were not available again. Virginia had a few display (without insides)24 F batteries that they were selling .

Is anyone producing a Group 27F Autolite Sta-Ful dummy plate for the top of generic batteries. I would like a Group 27F Autolite battery but as indicate by Bob the reproduced Autolite batteries are NOT reliable and for me is a $550 CDN layout, which I am not willing to invest in considering the internet feedback from a lot who have purchased these batteries.

I have not seen a 27F battery topper before . I don't think anyone makes one currently.

I was notified about these batteries from the FB MCA group. Know nothing about them, yet.
