Hi Everyone,
I know I saw it same where but not necessarily this forum a thread on how to rebuild your reproduction Autolite battery. After the second one dieing in 4 years I think its time to try a new approach!
In case anyone is wondering I have other cars and bikes which are cared for in the same way and aren't having battery problems.

Found it myself.

It's a shame that you have to pay over $250.00 for a junk battery and gut it for the case only. I am no battery expert but why can't they make a reliable battery in a vintage case? and since they obviously can't why not make reproduction group 24 & 27 cases that can easily be connected to a reliable battery? Just not real comfortable with breaking open a battery with all the nasty contents to deal with.
