I need to re paint my 1967 fold down seat deck parts. The paint looks original. Is Easy Off sufficient despite it being metal, or will I need to have them blasted clean?

If they are not rusty I would use a paint stripper, working it into the grain with circular pattern from a small light wire brush to get all fo the paint out of the grain.
