Thanks Scott. Still a mystery I guess, likely back to one known example instead of two...
I have seen them before and have always assumed that they were a  64 1/2 or a seldom used oddity. At least I thought they weren't relevant for the 65/66 Shelby's that I am interested in so I have always passed them up at swap meets etc.

I'm attempting to get more organized and found this trunk latch support. They are all over ebay but thought the date of 8 15 might fit someone's build.

I must have got lucky, sent mine to Tim Lancaster at Classic Carb Restorations in North Carolina for a rebuild and it came out of the box running great, no issues with it.
There is always that one guy. ;)  ;D
