What engines were in the cars as they left the Ford assembly line headed TO Kar Kraft?

Guess your asking about Boss 429s  Ed will surely have the answer but believe it depends on when your asking about (time frame)

only the early built 69 b9s had 428 scj engines installed in them at DAP then removed at KK & b9s installed then  & the dso 892000  is on paperwork & will be kk 12xx  or so

Didn't the cars with 428's have the heater motor heat shield removed by KK.  My car has firewall  holes. It is one of the first 250 cars.
