I was looking at a '66 convertible that same dealer has for sale right now also (on eBay) last night. It's Twilight Turquoise with matching deluxe interior. I had wondered about the fastback, as you see it in the photos parked next to the convertible. The price of this fastback does take your breath away... Looks to be a beautiful car though.

Nope, my mistake. Silly me... This threads' subject Mustang is a different car/dealer than the one I was looking at last night (sale of the convertible has now ended with an apparent sale):

Can anyone make out the build date on the 65 Rangoon Red K fastback?
-
I now see the build date clearly. (19U) I would question the use of that style rally pac in that car. It's a good looking car.

That's a super late '65 build. Guess it's possible a dealer could have installed that type since they were being used on 65's with 5 dial cluster.
It is a nice car. You'd think they could have installed the rear seat back cover the right way!

The drivers door jamb switch area looks like patch work, it must be a reflection. The car is missing many of the usual spot welds on the underbody area.
It looks like a remade rust bucket.
