Hello all,
Doing a frame off to a 12/67 build GT500. Shocks were replaced and curious as to the original shock colors. Coral Snake shows a lighter blue for the rear and I wanted to confirm the front shock color. Of course, any pics would be great as well.
Thank you for your help!!

GT500 and GT350 would be blue front and back . The 66 GT350 shock is very close to the early Ford light blue and the 68 is very close to the dubliclor Ford dark blue . I only mention the difference because you mentioned a " lighter " blue. FYI for 68 only the KR 4 speed with staggard shocks gets non adjustable black colored shocks. One shade of blue or black are the typical Shelby variations in 1968.

Dont take this the wrong way, but you cant match colors off the pictures. Every monitor is different . The lighting plays a large role as well. Mr Gaines is correct all four shocks on your GT500 would be dark blue. The Autolite shocks were painted a dark blue similar to the engine color.
