Title: C6OE-G Fan
Post by: bryancobb on November 10, 2010, 08:14:12 AM
I just finished stripping and painting my clutch fan for my 66 289.

Just an interesting note.  EVERY aluminum blade has the C6OE-G and the OVAL FoMoCo logo stamped in it.

Same here, I just finished rebuilding the engine in my 66 convertible w/AC. After blasting the clutch fan, I found each blade had a fomoco logo and C6OE stamped in it.  This must've been common practice.

Fairly typical practice on many of the fans

Sally,

Take it to the local airport.  The FBO can put you onto the local expert Aircraft Sheetmetal expert.

They will be well equipped to replace those rivets so that they look exactly like the others.
