Title: Decoding date code on wheels
Post by: 68 S Code on June 04, 2011, 11:21:22 PM
Ok I've looked at a bunch of 68 wheels and they all seem to be 7M# or 8M#. I presume the M does not mean December. So which character represents the month or maybe 1/4? Or have I only lucked upon dec wheels?

It should be the letter after the M.  The M is just the manufacture code/stamp.  Example: 7MA would be January of 67
