Title: smog pump fan

What is the best way to install the plastic fan onto the smog pump splines? It looks like it could be easily broken.  Thanks for any help

Center it on the center shaft and line up the bolt hoses. Place the pulley on the pump then tighten the bolts down slowly (using a cross pattern to do so) until the fan is seated.



That is what has worked for me ;)

A site member has been working on an article for the Library here on rebuilding the Thermactor pumps and we're in final review :)

Thanks Jeff, I had thought that might work but wanted advice before I did.
