Title: Percentage of Mustangs produced in 1966?
Post by: 66RavenGTCoupe on May 07, 2014, 09:39:44 PM
Hi guys,
Was wondering if anyone knew the percentage of Mustangs that were produced in 66 taking into account other models?
More specifically, Do we know the percentages or quantities of Mustangs built in the three plants for that year?
For example Dearborn may have had 60% of all cars produced there being Mustangs, San Jose 40% and Metuchen 30%.

- Just trying to get a feel on the rarity of my buck tag.

Thanks,

Daniel.

There are bits and pieces of Ford Marketing numbers that appear here and there. This chart is for 1966 production as depicted in "Ford Chronicle". The book is a pictorial account of Ford from 1893 thru 1992. What it does not include is Lincoln, Mercury, truck, van and foreign plant production numbers.
