64 1/2 top color

How common was it to have a black interior with a white convertible top? I have a 5-15-64 poppy, Dearborn convertible originally equipped that way. I've owned it since June of 70. I installed a black top some years ago & have been thinking about changing back to white. My wife is dead set against it. What's a guy to do?! :-\

In an area that gets warm the white top keeps it cooler inside the vehicle on those warm days.
