New here. I love this place!  Where else can I get the info that is accumulated here amongst all of you!  I might even know something once in awhile!

I agree. Great forum.

Being in the UK whilst we have an excellent Mustang Owners club (of which I am a member) and forum, its sometimes hard to get accurate information about the little detailed things, and even trawling the internet and other US forums. Some poeple arent interested in originality, but I am. So its really great to be able to find out how things are likely to have come out of the factory when undertaking work or replacing things on the car, and advise on the best alternative if original items are not available.

Charles, I am pretty ignorant about bandwidth etc., but on VMF I am bombarded with ads and am forbidden from mentioning certain things.  How does this forum NOT have that baggage and still show up free?

The costs of this forum and StangFix are paid by Randy Tallion (Sluggo).  Donations from members help offset those costs and keep the forums from becoming commercial sites like VMF.

YES CONGRATULATIONS!
Though no one has said it ... the best thing about CMF is the respect given to the Forum , topics and consideration on answers !

SO MANY forums end up with "talk to talk" , or worse wrong information.   If my cat dies in the back of a car in the garage I won't post it here !

I've been impressed with the members of this forum and how they conduct themselves.  Once in a while we get someone with schoolyard social skills, but for the most part, everyone seems to get along great and share information well.  We never require donations, but I'm sure Randy would be very appreciative of anything thrown his way!

Like they say in politics. We get what we deserve. I contributed regularly to VMF from the day I signed up. Apparantly the majority feel entitled to free bies kinda like government welfare! Kinda like going to church and letting everyone else donate!

I for one am sick of free loaders! Hope this forum/site gets enough non free loaders to keep this great thing going!

Thought I'd throw my 2 cents worth in with a $20 donation. CMF is very useful for the at-home restorer which I have noticed alot on here.
