Is that a original Mustang jack?

(1/2) > >>

Jerry:
Hi guys

Can anybody tell me if that is a original jack?
The guy ai bought it from said it´s from a early 65 car.

Thanks Jerry

baflstangobx:
I do not recall ever seeing one like that unless it came in the prototype.  The handle is definitely incorrect.  I do not think the jack is either.  The jack only saw a few minor differences from 64.5 - 70.  Mostly the pitch of the screw threads.  The  71 had the first significant change that was very obvious and that was the top where it fit the rocker.

Jerry:
Hmm,.....
Too bad i was told that it´s a early style jack but i did not know
thats why i bought it. I will keep the ratchet for my 66 notchback
and send the jack back.  :'(

Bye Jerry

J_Speegle:
IMHO  - nope -

yelostang:
The "ratchet" handle is not  a ratchet. It appears to be from a 68 handle and is stored on top of the
spare. Look close and you can see part of the hole in the handle that goes on top of the "J" bolt and is held in place with the large wing nut.
