Topic: 70 Mach I sealer

I'm sure this has been covered before but I have not mastered searching yet.  (Always had a problem in the library too.)  What is an acceptable sealer along the roof line and the weatherstrip molding  in a 1970 Metuchen Mach I.  The stainless molding that screws to the body in which the weather stripping sits in.

In the gutter (roof line)  I've been using 3M firm and fast

As from  the stainless to body and stainless to stainless in the window opening I've found some black foam double sided tape similar to the original. Sorry can't recall the brand
