Topic: WTB A/C Compressor Brace to Intake, 1966 w/289

I'm looking for a tubular reinforcing brace that connected the top of the A/C compressor to the intake on an A/C-equipped '66 Mustang with a 289.  All of the other A/C parts came with my car, but I am missing this one brace.  I've checked around, but I don't believe the brace is currently reproduced.

Try junk yards. Air conditioning was the second "system" (after smog) to be removed after it stopped working, then the parts were tossed. None of the parts were reproduced in any volumn, if at all. In the interim, use a piece of 1/2 inch electrical conduit to make one.

I noticed that too in NPD's printed catalog, but P/N 2888-1A is the thick dog-leg shaped brace that bolts to the side of the compressor, not the brace in the picture.
