Assembly line automatic “DISC BRAKE” pedal insert?
« on: July 22, 2018, 04:08:16 PM »
Does anyone know which of these if any are a true assembly line disc brake pedal pad insert? They are all a little different but all came off real pedal pads. Also were the letters filled with black paint?

Thanks as always,

Yes there were painted black in the lettering. Later service examples often have shallow lettering that is not as crisp as earlier versions. Sure others will add their observations and tips  ;)

Here are a number of examples to compare to - For this post these are all from 66's
