67 Fairlane
« on: January 25, 2014, 11:12:38 PM »
We took in 1967 Fairlane two door hard top with 289 3spd today. It is a very original car with a lot of good parts. Any Fairlane guys out there?

Looks like a great builder if you want to go that route.  I posted several months ago about a '66 Fairlane GT I had found.  It was really too far gone rust-wise to be fixed, so I ended up passing on it.  I still think those are cool cars though.  What are your plans for this '67?
Too much junk, too little time.

I have no plans to build it. We bought it for the 289. Hate to sent the rest to salvage. I thought there may be someone that needs some of these parts.
We would sell all as a project if some one wanted to save it.

Have a 67 Fairlane 6 banger convertible.  Would hate to see it go to salvage.  I'll PM ya.  May have a buddy who wants it.

Where is the car located?  Looks too nice to scrap, should be able to find someone interested.

If you give me some more info, brief description, price, email and/or phone and perhaps a few more pictures I can get the info on the Fairlane site for you if you like.

Hello,
I would be interested in some of the parts, if you decide to part it out. Trim items mostly. The dash if it is radio delete. The pedals. Steering wheel if it is not too badly cracked. Tailights and grill. Let me know. toosupermc@aol.com

Thanks,
Mike

We want to see if any one wants the entire car first. If not I will be in touch.
Thanks Marty

I had better get with the program and follow the for sale rules here.
$650 for the car with out the 289.

Yes, that is fair enough. I don't necessarily like seeing them broken up for parts, but occasionally some have to die so that others can live. How rusty is that body, and can you describe the rust issues? Any pictures of the interior?

Thanks,
Mike

Last week we were glad to see the 67 go to a new owner that intends to restore it. There is not a lot of these left on the road I am glad we did not have to part it. Thanks for everyone's interest and comments here. Marty
