I remember these.... very cool.   ;)

Yeah, These were very cool cars.  Too bad the actual production car didn't use the hood and taillights from this car.  What a shame.  Hard to believe that it was over 10 years ago now. Time flies.

This Silver prototype, and it's Red Convertible twin were both auctioned off separately at the same Barrett Jackson Auction right after each other.  I remember seeing it on TV.  It was a few years ago...maybe around 2009 or 2011... I can't remember the year.
