Need pictures of original '69 floorpan
« on: March 05, 2010, 09:31:15 PM »
I'm replacing part of the front floor and the toe board on my '69 Mach 1.  I bought a reproduction toe board from a major Mustang parts vendor, and it was listed as fitting a '64-70 Mustang.  The panel fits fairly well, but the recessed area under the steering column seems quite a bit smaller than original.  However, my original toe board was pretty eaten up with rust, so I'm partially guessing on what the area originally looked like.

Can anyone with an original '69 provide a few photos of the driver's side firewall and the area under the steering column?  It's literally right below where the steering column passes through the firewall.  I'm afraid to start cutting on a new panel until I can verify what it's supposed to look like.  Thanks!
