Title: Wiper Motor Mounting Hardware
Post by: 67gtasanjose on March 21, 2016, 09:52:33 AM
This weekend, I went over my windshield wiper motor to clean & ready it for re-installation.

I'm not sure when or where I lost a bolt & a washer, possibly when I took the car apart a couple years ago and there seems to be no mention of the design of the washer or description in any of the assembly manuals I have looked at so I will post pictures of what I need.

Maybe could be moved to Parts Wanted section but might also be of use here as well.

I DO NEED just ONE BOLT and ONE WASHER, these are the ones that mount the motor onto the bracket. These 1/4" standard thread bolts thread into the motor and pass through a locking flat washer, toothey style with teeth only on the internal hole. (see pictures)
Easy to come up with the bolt, wrong head marking, not so easy to locate another same washer.

FWIW, pictured along with the needed bolt & washer is a screw (42359-S36) often used to secure the Seatbelt Light Timer and/or bracket for relays such as Tilt-Away column and/or Low Fuel Relays
