Title: 1970 428 CJ Oil Pump Pickup

I want to verify if the Melling 57-S1 is the correct replacement for the C6OZ-6622-A oil pump screen.  Thanks

I wouldn't worry about what "Ford" did. Use the 69-70 Boss 302 pick up. The tube is much larger in diameter and it's an old remedy for part of the starvation issues that was passed down to me from the old school FE builders. It's what's on my '67 Shelby.
P.S. Use locktite on the bolts as well.
