Title: 65 SJ coupe 200ci six motor mount color question
Post by: GarlicGreg on November 07, 2010, 03:12:18 PM
I'm finishing up my engine bay and want to get the motor mounts finished correctly. It appears that the part that mounts to the frame was semi gloss black, and the insulators were natural cast. Is this correct?

Thanks,
Greg

The part that bolts to the frame is the cast iron piece but I haven't found one yet in my pictures that is clean enough to tell us what color it originally was :( May be semi-gloss black

The other part (that bolts to the engine) is the pressed steel part and it appears to be painted semi gloss black in my pictures. Looks like this part also includes the rubber part of the motor mount which would be painted black with the rest of it
