Title: Head light buckets and door paint question

1965: Were the head light buckets and doors painted on the outside in body color and the inside left in primer?
Or was the inside/backside painted something else? Mine seem to have nothing consistent on the back side of them.

Back side primer with body color overspray. As with all answers- your mileage may very depending on time period and plant .
