Title: New help identifying authenticity of the 302 in my 76' Cobra II..

First,, is it date stamped in the same local as my 69 351W (behind the starter)..

Also, with regards to the "consecutive unit #",,, how is that suppose to match up with the VIN?? Please explain...


Plus, where is the Cons. Unit # located on this motor (behind the drivers side head PAD))))

never mind..  just found it... It IS #'s matching!!!  Cool..!!
