Are there any identifying features (e.g. engineering numbers etc.) molded into a replacement FORD rear window weatherstrip?

I am trying to ID an alleged NOS part in an open box.

Box is easy to ID as original FORD C5ZZ-6542084-A, it has a shipment date of 02/07/77 however I have to wonder about the contents, it seems "too fresh" as in the rubber is still very soft (good thing) but it leads me to wonder if it may have been switched out at a time in the past. Looking it over, I find nothing on it that I.D.'s it as a Ford product.

Anyone else ever handle a NOS one of these?

There is usually an engineering number molded into the gasket, on the inside part, it takes a little time to find it.  Look near the corners first.

Consider that a lot of service replacement parts were made well into the 90's, especially if they are in a 'Ford' box or bag.

+1 should have a Ford part number.  I have recently picked up NOS fastback door inner and all model door outer, windshield, and quarter windows.  Don't want to pay the price (yet) for fastback rear glass.  Each of the NOS parts I got were in sealed boxes or bags, and have Ford part numbers.

I have spent  over half an hour, about 10 minutes yesterday and 15-20 minutes this morning looking over this weatherstrip and the only markings i find are an "R" in the right lower corner and an "L" in the left lower corner.

Unless I somehow missed the markings are on a face edge inside the grooves for the glass or the pinchweld, which I spent a great deal of time examining also yet did not find a marking, I have yet to be convinced it is genuine.

If somebody has other ideas where to look, I would rather approve this part as genuine, than to disprove it.

Too bad we need to be suspicious.

Two other sellers have looked at the NOS backglass weatherstrips they have for sale, none claim to have engineering numbers on them.
Here is what one seller found: (almost exactly what I have found)

I suppose you can take the opposite approach, and ask someone what is on a reproduction.  Since there are perhaps more than one supplier of repros that plan may not pan out.
