Ashtray & Radio Bracket Zinc or Bare Metal
« on: November 21, 2018, 03:41:30 AM »
Curious if the finish on these parts should be zinc plated or just bare metal. I tried to find a document that listed the correct finishes for these parts but I was unsuccessful.

Thanks

Bare steel on Ignition Switch Spacer, and if the round item is a cigar lighter case, the rest including the cigarette lighter are zinc.

Thanks Richard. FYI I was in Chicago at MCACN. What a great show. I spoke with Al Rogers at length about the Greet Hornet and Lil Red. I got some great reference photos from some great cars

........ I got some great reference photos from some great cars

Be careful since there were likely few if any San Jose cars at the show ;)

That is true I did notice that. However some of the photos are good reference for the generic stuff that applies to all cars.
