Rubber components and wire harnesses
« on: June 02, 2019, 09:48:52 AM »
Who is the best vender for firewall plugs, clutch rod boots, body plugs, etc.? I have bought reproduction stuff in the past for GM cars that fell apart within a year or two and want to avoid this again.

Also, who makes the beat replacement under hood wire harness for Mustangs. I have used M&H wire harness products for years but they do not supply Ford. Looking for the same type of quality.

Thanks in advance.

It's not the "vendor", but what manufacturer that vendor (read Mustang store) stocks and sells. There are many stores out there, some sell cheap stuff, some sell quality. I recommend two with a good track record, at least for me (both post on this forum), Virginia Classic Mustangs and National Parts Depot.

Jeff,
Alloy is the best source for wiring.  Unfortunately, they do not make every piece of wiring used so other sources are used to fill the holes when possible.
There is no “one best source” for rubber products.  Daniel Carpenter generally makes the best rubber products but there are a few pieces I choose to get from other sources for various reasons.
