Topic: HiPo Manifold Clearance to Shock Towers

Was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the Scott Drake Repo HiPo Manifolds fitting ?  Mine are almost touching on the drivers side shock tower.  The drivers manifold has a raised circle on the casting that is less than 1/8 inch from the shock tower. Passenger side has about 1/4 inch clearance.  Car was originally 289 non HiPo car and we just replaced both drivers/passenger side full fender aprons from Dynacorp.  Everything else fits the way it should. What is the clearance supposed to be ?

You might note a reference point on the top of the two shock towers and measure the distance. That way we can compare to an undisturbed car.
