Just wanted to circle back on this thread which is about identifying all FE heads because there are long-time diehard Ford folks that can appreciate the history and research involved. Recently I found a copy of the Hollander 40th edition (covers through 1974) which has a list of Ford castings on P71 of the Cylinder Head section. After close review, I found they omitted 21 FE cylinder heads from `58-74. There were also dozens of non-existent FE head castings listed in the book. If anyone wants details, feel free to inquire.
