I have a NOS Booster kit for Drum brake conversion. It is missing a few odds & ends but has a lot of fittings, (auto type) pedal, drum type master with cover...has the FoMoCo logo if that matters.

PM if interested

FYI  you have about a 50 50 chance of a NOS booster not working right when put into service after 50 years. I and others have had so many NOS boosters fail I am biased against them. The rubber diaphragm gets hard and can crack immediately or shortly after being put into service. As hard as they are to install when replacing on a running car a newly rebuilt core is the surest bet IMO.

Tim is asking for a CORE. I waited to reply for others to chime in, should this kit be more then he wishes to purchase.

I'm sure that you (Bob) were looking out for others whom would not know this.

Yes you assume correctly . That is why I explained and said that a newly rebuilt core is the surest bet IMO.

So that begs the questions of, :what is the going price for a core", and "what does it cost to have it rebuilt" ?

WCCC charges $250 for the Midland cores. Mostly to insure that we can maintain our supply. Doesn't work.

I do not believe that the FoMoCo logo was on the assembly line boosters.

I removed this from a 67. I looked it over and could not locate any markings so not sure if it is OEM or what you are looking for.

True. The Service Replacement, if done by the Campaign, had the FoMoCo stamp.
Also TRUE that a good number of cores are pitted or banged up, needing a little finesse to get them into Concours quality...it probably takes a lot less effort to focus in on ONLY the immediate area around the logo, as opposed to the deep pitting I've seen all over some of the ones out there.

FYI It takes little effort to make the FOMOCO on the later service boosters diasappear on a otherwise nice core. ;)
