What you need is shown on the attached pictures from the 1965 Factory Chassis Assembly Manual, and the 1965 Standard and Utility Parts Catalog, respectively.

Hope this helps.

Thx?.. can they be purchased new ?  I?ve searched eBay and other parts sites and they have the one port only for the trans. Line but not with  two threaded holes.

This is what I have and what you want to find for your application. It's pricey (here) but is the correct one. The larger nipple is for the trans, the smaller one gets capped off. My car still has the Thermactor system but is not involved with this fitting:

Isn't it supposed to have inverted threaded holes for both the Trans line and the brake booster short metal tube ?

My trans line is a soft/rubber one off the steel line, running up to the firewall.

The trans line is typically a rubber tube attached to the brass vacuum port. The brake booster is typically a metal line that threads into the vacuum port. This holds true for 65 and various other year Mustangs.

Thank you Bob. Mine is setup this way, as you describe. I made an error in my earlier post, so am attaching the only picture I have on file. Thermactor setups have a smaller rubber hose, attached to the metal line shone here (the verticle loop one in the background), going to the smaller nipple on the intake fittting. Forgot all about this. Been way too long since I've been under the hood. So if no factory smog, the small nipple gets capped.
