Motor Mount Rebuild??

Can the motor mounts be rebuilt?  I have one off and it looks OK, no cracks or dryrot....but, it is 45 years old.  I'm sure they are original to the car and have never been off before.

Or...just refurbish it?

Or...replace it?

Not sure how you would be able to get the rubber replaced on engine mounts. I would detail and reuse if it is truly in good shape. Look for the Ford numbers moulded into the rubber for OEM Ford parts.

I've decided to replace them.  This car will be driven and I don't want that nagging feeling when I romp on it.  I ordered a set of Lakewoods.  They are supposed to have a "captive" design so they cannot come apart.  I will keep the originals.

Thanks... :D
