« on: October 21, 2014, 10:24:15 AM »
Does anyone have a photo of a 1968 fastback decklid from the bottom?

Looking for 67-68 differences....

This reply includes some original 67 pics.  Next I will reply with 68 and Ford late 80's NOS

Looked through my 68 fastback collection and no good shots of the deck lid.  Lot's of trunk pics but that won't help.  I'm sure others will chime in.

I did find one picture showing "unused" screw holes used for the torsion bar on 67.  That is the first pic below.

The last pic is from a late 80's Ford NOS decklid

Good question - going to take a little while to compare :)

So far

- Looks like the two small holes for the 67 style trunk spring may have been deleted during 68.

- At some point, yet to be determined, an extra large and small hole was added to the passenger end of the trunk lid for the trunk light wiring in 68
