66 fastback outer, rear seat belt holes
« on: December 20, 2023, 01:46:28 PM »
There are a few topics about the outer (wheelhouse side) seat belts holes and anchors but all the picture links are dead.
Does anyone have a good picture of where these are located on a 66 fastback? I tried using my 67 FB as a template, but the side panel supports welded to the floor are in a different place.

Thanks, Charles!

I need another detail on the dual exhaust holes, but I'll start another thread (with your pic).

See attached.
Get a set.
A photo to confirm - 66 K GT Fastback, San Jose, 18K scheduled build. The threaded nut is pressed/stamped/welded in, no separate nut.

If you mean the Assy Manuals, I have the 64.5, 65 and 66 versions.
But the hand drawn "pics" do not show the location with respect to the metal supports for the side panels.

I took my 67 parts car "plates" and will reuse them on this car.

What "side panels"?

The support or bracket on the floor C55ZZ-63310A-084/5-A is called a "Bracket - Qtr trim lower front panel - lower" and holds the "side panels" aka C6ZB-6331486-7 "Panel assembly quarter trim lower front."

Known by some as the rear fiberglass side panels and dozens of other names.
