Correct foam for rebuilding 65-68 heater boxes?
« on: November 08, 2019, 12:24:43 PM »
It seems that the current replacement seal kits that everyone is selling are an 'improved' version of high-density foam.

Does anyone know where to find the old open cell style foam or know where foam material can be cut to fit?

Have you tried the foam that Danial carpenter uses? It was recommended to me and it compared favorably to what was coming out of factory boxes. At least that was what came in the kits I received about a year ago.
