69 351 OE Distributor

I am trying to purchase an OE distributor for my 69 351W engine. I am finding listings that say "for automatic" or "for manual"  What is the difference??

It's the internal settings (advance curve, possibly weights and limiters) , engineering number stamped on the side and the vacuum advance if I recall correctly

oh, I found the perfect date code for my car but if the part number is not correct due to "automatic" then I am out of luck I guess.
