Carlite Stamp
« on: August 12, 2010, 02:14:22 PM »
Hi guys

I wanted to buy a windshield with the carlite logo and stuff
on it but they did not ship to germany. Now i bought a clear
windshield from Scott Drake? I donĀ“t know.
What i want to ask is,... is there something how i can
duplicate this Stamp on my new windshield?

Thanks Jerry

Don't know where to send you but recently I thought that someone started offering a do it yourself kit for this. Believe it was similar to kits made years ago for older car (puddy, a stamp and either an acid or sandblast process)

Hopefully a search on Yahoo or the like will turn up something for you

Carleton Glass can supply you with a etching kit for any logo for $80, just tried etching a window this morning and it turned out perfect. http://www.fordscript.com/carleton_glass/products.html
Jeff, I am looking for a pic of a windshield logo for a 65 SJ fastback with tint and banding with a build date around 5A. From what I've seen on other cars, the windsheild logo is different than the rest of the glass and I don't have my original .
Thanks,
