Thanks guys! I'm going to start welding up some holes.Depending on how good a welder you are, consider using "JB Weld" on the smaller holes. I also used Bondo on my dash installing a "radio repair panel". My "welds" of the panel warped the dash.
Hi all.
Finally i bought the Stripes which most of the cars on the pictures seema to have: black with gold accent. Another reason was that i did Not find a company which sells black with white accent.
Now I mounted the stripes on my pony and what did I find? At the inner Side of the passenger door there is a small rest of the original Stripes... Black with white accent... . So I will continue to search the correct one for my car...
Thank you Royce,
But If I want to buy frame side mounts they are listed as fitting as 1965 to 1970 mustang. Does that mean that those aftermarket frame side kits are the same for the '68 as you point out? That's my question.
It appears that there are several different versions of "factory" parts for this period. I don't just want to assume that the aftermarket suppliers settled on the one variant that fits all of those models in-between. I am hoping to get a confirmation of that assumption.
