Re-Import of 67 Fastback GTA from EU to the States
« on: February 25, 2024, 04:33:26 PM »
Hey Everybody,

i am Andreas, a newbie in the Forum, and i have a question that is a little bit out of the ordinary.

i own a 67 Fastback GTA. This Car is from Top to Bottom 100% original Ford USA as it rolls off the Production Line in August 1967 at Metuchan. It was driven only for a limited time (21365 miles) and kept, since then, in storage and was only moved for inspection and to keep the engine and other technical parts, paint and body in perfect condition.

Now it looks like the Pony goes back to it's original Homeland.

As i have no idea what is necessary to get a classic US Car back Home, are there any special regulations for classic cars, taxes or costums duties.

If anybody can help with information about that topic i would be very grateful.

Thanks and cheers from germany.

Andreas

I've only exported cars. Suggest that since this is not a Mustang issue you should search the whole internet for help and stories of what worked and didn't. Sure the search will also find plenty of companies that will do the paperwork and arrange things for you. You make the choice

Good luck with your search
