Not sure if pomona is the same day or not, but I don't know HOW you could walk BOTH in one day. If you are showing your car, yes et there early, show spots are firs come first served by catagory.

Pomona open at 6AM and is "finished" by lunch but it may be stupid to try and do both... and I am not showing a car - I am "long distance", you know (Sweden) ;-)

Any members attending the 2016 show? It's this coming Sunday, April 17th.

I would have liked to have flown out this year. I wrote 57 citations on Beach Blvd during the last show I was on the job in '08. It wasn't the Ford guys that were the issue, it was the Asians and Hispanics in the Hondas that were the issue. Many used to cruise PCH and come back up Beach to the 91 FWY to return home.
I can't imagine it improving in the area. I haven't been back since 2007.

Would like to this year - unfortunately can't go to everything. Allot of odd stuff always shows up - but that is what should be expected in the home of hot rodding

yes I am going. Have been getting the car ready for the last week...

Already sold out! I hope those lucky enough to attend take a lot of pictures. This show makes all the all-Ford (or any one marquee) events I've been to look small.
-
I'll just be spectating and taking photos. Black 07 GT500 with Alabama plates will be in the parking lot! :P

excited first time it has completely sold out in a few years. 1800 cars. I hope they are not all new Mustangs!! I like the old stuff

Me as well. I hope you have a safe, fun cruise out. Might be cool to start a thread from leaving 'til your return. Road trip pics/videos can be interesting.

No road trip. I live less than 10 miles away... I will have lots of pics though

No worry - plenty of late model Mustangs as usual but a little (or allot) of everything. Normally there is a bunch of Broncos, hand full of old drag cars. Less Model A's and Early V8's as there use to be. 50-60's station wagons peppered here and there. Basically a cross section of stock and hot rod Fords with a SoCal twist ;)\
Shot of one area of the show/parking lot from a few years ago
The fastback was an original paint car 8)

Let me see if I have the address handy but believe the building was torn down in Sept 1982 or there about
